Kaitlin's Page

My name is Kaitlin. I am a college student, working my way towards that graduation finish line, studying French and Political Science....strange combination, I know. I have recently found my love for the French language (even though I've been studying it for probably 6 years now...and I am no where near fluent). I always shock people when I tell them about political science. I have no desire to be a politician. I really have no idea what I want to do with political science, but I have a strong interest in what is going on in the US and the world and a strong want to make the world a better place (as naive as that may sound). I am not one to impose my views on others. I am very open to different views and different ideas. I am always willing to hear what others have to say and to try and look at things from their point of view.
I have many many interests, one of the being dance. I have never taken a dance lesson, but I have always wanted to. I remember growing up telling my parents I wanted to be a ballerina. My desire to dance was put aside with school, girl scouts, musical instruments, and swimming, but after watching the last couple seasons of Dancing with the Stars, my desire for dance is back, and I am hoping to sign up for some lessons very soon! Some of my other interests are music (in general - playing and listening), swimming (I teach swimming part time and LOVE it), racquetball (I'm terrible, but I have so much fun - and that's all that matters, right?), education, jewelry making, making chocolate truffles, movies, photography, spending time with the people I love, and much more.
That's pretty much me in a nut shell...a large nut shell! :-)
