the men that I want to meet... and the list is only the beginning...
Melissa did great on the waltz (and truthfully, I expected her to do well.. with her ballet training).. she has already done great on the ballroom dances. Her latin dances have not always been on "target"... but with the Samba... she was fanastic!! It was technically very good... but more.. it was not hectic as one sees with the samba with the other competitors on DWTS. She deserved the "perfect" 30... and Carrie Ann did surprise me... she actually had nothing to say (but IF she had.. I would have said.. "nicky-picky"... and it would not been deserved)...

I just loved Shawn's two dances last night... the quickstep and the Paso doble... I believe that we are seeing Shawn's personality come out.. and she is starting to relax and enjoy herself.., and just one more thing.. it's not fair that they penalized Shawn for the break in the hold.. that was Mark's fault.. he does the choreography, and KNOWS the rules of the quickstep.. they would have made a "perfect" score IF not for that mistake... BUT I'm happy that Mark took the responsibility for the "break"... he took the high road... and I appreciate that... very much!!

</ object> I loved the Team Mambo's dance... it was GREAT!!!... I thought that it was better than the Team Tango. for me,.. team tango focused too much on the solos, and not enough on the group portion. And it was a team dance... here is the link... or you can watch below the link... the judges always like the ballroom team dance than the latin team dance...

Last night (April 20, 2009) on DWTS was really fanastic!! I know that there are more dances to come for these celebrities... but I really love these two dances.. we saw Shawn coming out... she was having fun, and showed that "spunk"... (and she got a "10" from Bruno...).. and the Argentine tango from Melissa and Tony... the steps, the lifts,..., the choreography,... it all was so GREAT!!!

Elena posted this on facebook, and I just had to have it on my page... it's so cool.. Tony and Elena move their bodies in ways that I can only imagine... and wish to dance... (This is why I love Tony!!)

I love this waltz with Kristi and Mark... and is equal to the one done by Mel and Maks...

Kristi and Mark... the best couple that I have seen on DWTS... they fitted each other very well, and Mark could throw anything at Kristi, and she could do it... not all of the performances were "perfect" but they were damn close. The other couple that might come close... Apollo and Julianne. For me, the olympic athletes (athletes in general) bring that "extra" something to the competition... they have the technical and competition aspects, and they just need to learn the performance aspect.. and they do!! Just saw this on the www.socialdancesport.com.. and thought that it was amazing.... and had to post to my favorite dances.. I still love Mel and Maks' waltz...



Two hearts coming together.. Alec.. he can't get the smile off his face when he dances with Edyta..true love.. so beautiful, and I am a hopeless romantic...

Hello friends!!!

I have graduated from medical school... this past June! But I am a doctor in NAME only... I still have to pass my board exams and do residency to become a practicing physician. I will need all of your prayers cuz my testing taking skills are not the best. I get highly anxious during exams... so if any of you have any tips, please send me a message or drop a comment.... just drop me a comment... I would love to hear from all of you!!! :o)

It's been a long time....

It's been a long time since I have written.. to be exact.. the last was Christmas Eve. And this won't be a long blog.. just a short one. I am tired... I'm still studying for board exams AND applying for residency. I have to write a personal statement and get my CV together... the CV was easy BUT the personal statement is giving me "fits"... MERRY CHRISTMAS....

It's Christmas EVE... Santa is somewhere over the world delivering presents.... and am here to say.. we need to cuddle ourselves onto our beds,... thinking of everything nice... for tomorrow is CHRISTMAS,... and in six days... it's a brand new year with no mistakes, no problems,... no greatness,... no accomplishments,... no nothing... it's for us to make the new year as we wish,... and want.....

am disappointed... :(

I saw the Monday show, and was really hoping that the finalists would be Mel, Marie, and Jenny. I just don't believe that Helio should be in the finals. I also didn't feel that Helio deserved the three tens on the second dance. Besides the dancing on the stairs and some below on the dance floor, it was ALL Julianne!!! I like the idea of a goal book, things to do before you die. Though maybe it should be things to do before you're 30 or something, then maybe you'll do it now rather than later? I am terrible for putting things off!

I tried something new to eat today too, we had these festive puff pastry things today, thick pieces of chicken covered in tomato, basil, little bit of stuffing and cranberries, wrapped in lattice puff pastry - and it was gorgeous! :)

I notice you have a very nice picture of Tony down the side of your page, wonder why you chose that particular picture? LOL! ;) He does catch your attention! Country music and dancing do go well together, I do like your page, so I can't think of how to improve it! You'll have to have a think, and invent something new for 2009! :)

You're welcome, I've been doing what I love today, not sure it's exactly good for me though! LOL! Too much food, too much playing on the computer! lol. Fun though! :)

Hello Anupama, thanks for accepting my friend request!

I am from the UK, Fleetwood is on the North West coast of England, near Blackpool if you know where that is? They have big dancing competitions at The Tower Ballroom in Blackpool. I'll have to hunt out some photos of Fleetwood, I'm sure I have some of the beach and town somewhere! It's a small seaside town, nowhere near as grand as London!

I also have the same problems as you with writing and drawing - finding the time to do it! Before my latest drawing I hadn't done any for a while! But always enjoy it when I do it. Why don't we make more time for the things we love? lol, hope you're having a great New Year, and Good Luck with your studying! (What are you studying?).
