Hey all!

Hey guys and gals! My name is Nicole and I'm 20 years old from the OC..I love sports, dancing, and gymnastics. Basketball, dancing, and gymnastics are my passions. I was a gymnast for 11 years and I coached basketball for 2 years. When I was a kid, I competed in Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. I would love to start ballroom and competing but Im not sure how to get into it or how to get a partner. Any advice would be awesome and appreciated! <3

HI!! How are u? Its been awhile :) Have you seen some of the changes that have been going on here? They have a Poll page, Tinks Corner has some interesting things going on too! Theres been a discussion on "Should Ballroom Dancing be part of the Olypics" I've been doing some looking around and there has been alot of changes :) have a great week!!

Hi Nicole
We are in the same situation. I would love to learn how to dance ballroom. the problem is that we practice 10 to 15 hours of dance a week in our mexican dance company. My sugestion is: look for workshops or seminars. They teach fast and in a weekend you learn what a studio teaches in a month. My husband, and my two sons (20 and 16), we are going to the Salsa Mambo Festival in Palms Springs. they teach all day and include dance socials where people dance and practice what they learned.

Thanks for the info!!! I am sad, but I really understand that he probably wants some time to be with family and his students. I don't think that the show will be the same without him, but the show must go on!!! Thanks again.

Thanks for your comment. I'm from the east coast...Manhattan, NY and also Phildelphia, PA. I also lived in Amsterdam, Holland for a few years to study more with dance, music, and fashion. I also enjoyed London and Switzerland. Yes, Maks is a sweetheart and great friend. He truely is very talented as a ballroom dancer and has the most charming personality. I wanted Maks and Mel to win as well, but regardless they'll always be WINNERS no matter what they do in life. Maks has a lot of other projects that he's working on now and in the future..I'm sure there's no time for another DWTS....He really deserves a rest.
