I am always up for a good YOOPER joke! Tell him his joke gets an 8 (out of 10)... sound familiar??? In my opinion. It is missing a reference to chewing tobacco, hockey, broomball, ice sculpture, beer or a pastie... LOL!!! Call me Carrie Ann...
Speaking of Carrie Ann... sat next to her... like we talked to her... sat next to her ... at the Nationals in Baltimore last weekend. I'll send you a pm on details...
No workshops for me. Have I not sent you a pm with the details as to why I don't participate in those anymore??? Girlfriend... we need to catch up...
Denise... what can I say??? B-I-M-B-O... She is not the kind of woman that women like that is for sure and the last time I checked... I didn't know of a single guy that is calling in votes every week. No doubt men find her attractive... I'd rather be me any day than her... she is a pathetic mess.
I like little Shawn Johnson. I loved her in the Beijing Olympics and want to hug her cute self... and pinch her cheeks... I think that Melissa may be a front runner. Tony is a fabulous teacher and it would not bother me one bit if Tony won. I only watched the very end of the Bachelor... so I did see what happened to Melissa and while I am not a fan of the show my heart did and still does go out to her... reminds me some of my past relationships... but I won't go there...
Other than that I am loving me some Giles with Cheryl and Dimitry... I call him "Maks Light"... He moves in the same elegant was as Maks but not with as much magnatitude or strength.

I have SERIOUSLY... cleaned out some stuff over the past few months... like 10 car loads to Goodwill... stuff...let me tell you it feels soooooo good to be free of "stuff"... My advice... make a pile to "consider" getting rid of... then think about it... and if you don't think about it... in a couple of days... toss it!!!
For what it is worth... when I was growing up... it was the CB Radio... then we got the car phone... the internet and the cell phone (for me) were both luxury items...but even da UP must have internet these days...
My opinion (and I am not married) is that you are as isolated as you want to be. I've spent more winters on the southern shores of Lake Superior (with NO internet)... then I care to recall... Snow above my first floor window... cars... an outline...covered (burried) in snow!
70 degrees below zero... 120 degrees below... it does not matter it is COLD! And while I like the SOUND of the snow when it is cold the "sound" of the snow compressing under my feet can also mean... ISOLATION!!! and make me feel alone.

I hadn't been here for a long while and decided to check in today. Thanks for the nice Valentine!!! :) Think I might be over here more now days.
