Hi! I am Kathie and I have been a ballroom dance fan since I was a little girl! I used to dream of being a ballroom dancer....it may still happen!
I live just outside of Buffalo, New York. I am a mom to 2 girls...one is 18 and my baby is 10. I love them to death! The only man in my home at the moment is my cat...he is truly "King of the Castle". All that female attention is crazy!
I love DWTS! I look forward to it every season! This season has by far been the best! I also watch Ballroom Bootcamp, and the Ballroom competitions on PBS.....I can't seem to get enough!
I am totally loving this site! I am glad to chat with other ballroom dance fans!

2008 will be great!

This is a fresh start for all of us! A new year, new adventures.....try something new...put an end to old habits! I gave up smoking and took up exercise! I feel a thousand times better! This is the year that I will try something new as often as possible...even if it scares me!

I plan on taking dance lessons, but not sure where to start with that. I guess I need more research...who is best, closest and cheapest! LOL

And I plan on making it to the BDC Social more regularly! :)… Continue

HI!! How are u? Its been awhile :) Have you seen some of the changes that have been going on here? They have a Poll page, Tinks Corner has some interesting things going on too! Theres been a discussion on "Should Ballroom Dancing be part of the Olypics" I've been doing some looking around and there has been alot of changes :) have a great week!!

Hi Kathie,
How are you?
Well, my thoughts on this season of DWTS...not as much excitement as in the past seasons, although the celebrities seem to be having a great time. Maks was surely the highlight of the show and definitely keep viewers watching each week. I miss him!!
I don't think that the pros are into it as much, maybe due to exhaustion and other activities going on around them and in their personal lives as well. Tony and Mark are truly fascinating and probably the best two pro dancers this season. Congradulations to Tony and his wife, who are expecting twins.
All the best for this season and more seasons to come.
