I was also really sad they didn't win. I thought they were the best, as well as being one of the best pairs EVER to be on DWTS. I really wanted Tony to finally win that trophy. However, the are both winners in my eyes. I'm so proud of them.

Their dances were by far my favorites, and I've watched them over and over. I've enjoyed all of Tony's partners, but it was great Tony had such a talented partner this season so we could really see him shine, both as a dancer and choreographer. They had so much chemistry. I loved all the fun and joy they brought to the show, not only in their dances, but in the behind the scenes segments.

i really miss them. I hope we will get to see them dance together again some day.

Thank you, Tony & Melissa, for all you brought to this season. Again, you are both winners in my eyes.

I will remember that dramatic Argentine tango for the rest of my days. It ranks equal to Mel's paso in my estimation for DWTS top honors. Beautifully choreographed and performed by our duo of sweetie pies, Tony D and Melissa.

I think we are now to the point where no one really expects the winner of DWTS to be the best dancers or even the most charming personalities. With the advent of power voting, whoever takes the time to inspire folks to register 100's perhaps 1,000's of votes gets the win. As a result, I struggle to recall when the best dancer EVER won DWTS.

So making the final three is about all hard work and talent can gain (usually) and those well-schooled on Dancing's suspcious processes takes pride in winning that stage.

I would not want either Tony D or Melissa to feel any let down from that point forward. It would be folly to put your success into the hands of such a whimsical process and I'm sure our level-headed duo have the right perspective.

Thanks seems insufficient for the joy and pride that Tony and Melissa gave us throughout their Season. I send them my love for both captivating dances and stellar showmanship.
